Dear CPTP Trainee, you are encouraged at this point to review the various skills development and training opportunities made available to you during your stay on this scheme and also evaluate your career pathway transition interest against your chances of employability; your qualifications, your value at your current place of work, job hunts and entrepreneurship capacity building programmes.


You must note that All MIPs and other prospective employers have their requirements and standards for considering current and future recruitments.


REMEMBER THE SECTION ON EXIT PREPARATIONS IN YOUR ENGAGEMENT LETTER.


“Exit from the Scheme after Three (3) Years

The last Six (6) months of the three (3) years programme scheme shall be used for the following;”


1. to further train and build capacity and skills in addition to those acquired at the beginning and during your time of engagement,


2. Prepare nation builder on the strategies of further job seeking and how to prospect opportunities


3. link nation builder to available network opportunities for permanent employment


4. Build skills in entrepreneurship and link them to financing and funding opportunities


5. Make available a pool of skilled nation builders for prospective employers to tap into.”


SOME CRITICAL VALUE ADDITION OPPORTUNITIES PROVIDED DURING YOUR STAY ON THE SCHEME AIMED AT INCREASING YOUR CHANCES OF EMPLOYABILITY & ENTREPRENEURSHIP


1. District level interviews before selection from June to August 2018.


2. District level training by Human Resources professionals on Work Readiness, Professionalism, ethics and codes of conduct at places of work to enable you fit into your work environment, make an impact and prove yourself valuable for retention or explore opportunities within the sector or other sectors for entrepreneurship, September to October 2018.


3. Specialist training on research, digital tools, monitoring and evaluation and leadership to your core peers (three RTCs per District); RTCs for peer evaluation, trainees assistance on virtual platforms and activities and opportunities as future independent district research consultants. September 2018 to December 2019.


4. Training information and guidance for the use of digital work CLOCK IN & CLOCK OUT APP for work monitoring, progress tracking and reporting for all trainees from October to December 2018.


5. Digital tools, Digital branding and marketing training by Google certified trainers at Zonal level from October 2018 to June 2019.


6. Work Placement at institutions to enable you acquire hands on work experience and increase your chances of employability.


7. District and Zonal work place orientation; organisational culture, ethics and codes of conduct, performance, evaluation and career development by various MIPs upon placement, October 2018 to June 2019 and continued for individual placements/replacements.


8. Career Pathways Training to reskill, upskill and further train you in specific areas after your first year on the scheme – October 2019 to February 2020 at all regions; I. CV structuring and writing II. Career Interest, job prospecting and opportunities III. Professionalism, Business Ethics & Etiquettes, Networking and Personal Branding IV. Business Development and Entrepreneurship; Business Proposals, Sourcing for Startup Finance, Business Registration, Product Standardisation and Marketing V. Industry Trends and Opportunities VI.SME Sector consideration and how to become self employed VII. Agric Business Sector presentations by young “agriprenuers” and Opportunities within various value chains.


9. Specialist training Training of Trainers for RTCs and Training for selected trainees (12,750) on data capturing, information processing and use of digital platform for National Digital Property Addressing System (NDPAS), June to August 2019 and data collection execution by District teams. Knowledge on data collection, digital addressing and precision location activities acquired for current and future opportunities.


10. Launch of NSTA (NABCO Skills and Talent Academy) in October 2019 and available for all trainees to build further skills and acquire certification in specialised areas- over 480 certificate courses made available in partnership with the Ghana-Indian Kofi Annan Centre of Excellence in ICT, all courses online that run until October 2020 with free internet data provided for registered participants during the COVID lockdown.


11. FOREX Trading and Income making training opportunities made available for all trainees in partnership with NEKOTECH/SOS Labour through international experts and resource professionals. Online training from May to July 2020.


12. Business Development and Entrepreneurship training opportunities provided in partnership with NBSSI/MasterCard Foundation Young Africa Works Program from September 2020 to February 2021.


13. Continuous information and details on employment opportunities at international organisations, call for applications for entrepreneurship pitches by NEIP, European Union/Government of Ghana Circular Economy program, SAP Young Professionals Program, African Development Bank Young Professional Program etc.


14. Quarterly District level training opportunities for Business development, critical thinking and innovation from 2020 to 2021.


15. In-house training opportunities by Institutions and agencies- MIPs as part of work experience and capacity building from 2018 and ongoing.


16. Ethics, Microsoft Word and Excel courses available on trainees portal from 2018 and still available.


17. Trainee Log Books provided for all trainees to log/record, document, track and have your training as part of your personal development on scheme.


CURRENT SKILLS DEVELOPMENT & TRAINING OPPORTUNITIES AVAILABLE FOR ALL TRAINEES

From September to October 2021.


1. Entrepreneurship Training for all trainees.

2. Development of Businesses Proposals for CPTP Entrepreneurship, Private Sector and Career Focused Further Learning interested trainees.

3. Renewable Energy Entrepreneurship for all trainees on CPTP and hands on training for those who selected Entrepreneurship, Private Sector and Career Focused Further Learning interested trainees.

4. Business Networking, Ethics & Etiquettes, Personal & Business Branding and Professionalism training for all trainees on CPTP and in person training for those who selected Entrepreneurship, Private Sector and Career Focused Further Learning interested trainees.

5. Public Services interest, requirements, opportunities and limitations; training for all trainees.

6. Additional and advance job prospecting, CV and personal profile preparation for all trainees and optional certification test upon completion for awards of certificates.


The Nation Builders Corps (NABCO) programme is a government initiative to address graduate unemployment to solve social problems. The focus of the initiative will be solving public service delivery in health, education, agriculture, technology, governance and drive revenue mobilization and collection.

Omanhene of Berekum Traditional Area, Dasebre Dr Amankona Diawuo II Passes On. The Omanhene of Berekum Traditional Area in the Berekum Municipal of the Bono Region Dasebre Dr Amankona Diawuo II has passed on. The announcement of the demise of the Berekum Traditional leader was done today Friday 9th June 2023 by the chief spiritualist of Berekum Nana Komfo Kofi who was asked to take care of the health of the paramount chief but on his announcement, the paramount chief could not make it but joined his ancestors. Dasebre Dr Amankona Diawuo II was a doctor by profession and an active Church elder of the Church of Pentecost who serve the people of Berekum with calm and peaceful leadership who seek to maintain peace and unity after 17 years of chieftaincy dispute during his reign as the paramount chief of Berekum. A Student of Ghana National College from Sunyani-Chiraa Scores 8A's in 2023 WASSCE.  A Senior High Student of Ghana National College in Cape Coast, Owusu Peprah Priscilla who hails from Chiraa in the Sunyani West Municipality of the Bono Region has also scored 8A's in the West Africa Secondary School Certificate Examination (WASSCE).  Her effort and the results she obtained have brought great joy to her family and the people of Chiraa without hesitation wishing her congratulations on most of the social media platforms. She started her basic education at Solomon Bennet Memorial School in Sunyani from her infancy.  Priscilla's family and well-wishers are appealing to the government as a matter of urgency to help ensure the right course of study will be offer to her at her tertiary education level.
