Physically challenged man who smashed judge's vehicle in Berekum has been charged and reminded.

PHYSICALLY CHALLENGED MAN WHO SMASHED JUDGE'S VEHICLE IN BEREKUM CIRCUIT COURT HAS BEEN CHARGED.

A 34 years old physically challenged man Kwame Clement who walks with an aid of a pair of crotches who smashed the wind screen, left door glass and left side mirror of a court judge in Berekum, His Honour Osei Kofi Amoako vehicle with his right crotch has changed with causing harm and damage to a property.

The incident which happened on Wenesday morning around 9:30am at the court premises. The incidence led to adjournment of all proceedings scheduled for the day.

The suspect after his charged has also been reminded for 10 days to appear before the Sunyani magistrate court on 20th July, 202 for prosecution.


According to the sources the man,  the man acted out of anger, because he was knocked down by a driver in 2014 which the driver was sentenced 2 years into prison. Also the driver was charged to pay a compensation of Ghc2000.00 to him but has also paid Ggc500.00 out of this it may speculate he acted in such manner by damaging the car.

An eye witness account on that faithful day of the incident has it that the man was peeved "they were at the court for their court proceedings as a result of that a sound was heard from the court premises a man was smashing the glasses of a car at the car park which the police was called in for his arrest".
