Jomoro MP, MCE, joins forces to build a party office at Half Assini In a significant demonstration of teamwork and commitment to grassroots political development, the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Jomoro, Benedict Boadi, and the Member of Parliament (MP) for the Jomoro Constituency, Dorcas Affo-Toffey, have joined forces to support the construction of a party office at Half Assini, the municipal capital. The initiative underscores the importance of collaboration among political leaders in strengthening party structures, promoting unity, and creating a permanent space for political engagement and community interaction within the municipality. The proposed party office is expected to serve as a central point for party administration, meetings, mobilisation, and coordination of activities at the constituency and municipal levels. Once completed, the facility could also provide a convenient venue for party members, executives, and supporters to discuss issues affecting the party and the development of the Jomoro Municipality in the Western Region. The collaboration between the MCE and the MP highlights the value of collective leadership in pursuing shared objectives. By working together on the project, the two leaders are demonstrating how cooperation between elected representatives and local government authorities can contribute to strengthening political organisation and grassroots participation. Benedict Boadi, in his capacity as MCE, plays a key role in coordinating local governance and supporting development initiatives within the municipality, while MP Dorcas Affo-Toffey, who is also the Deputy Transport Minister, represents the interests of the people of Jomoro in Parliament. Their joint involvement in the party office project reflects a shared interest in building a stronger organisational foundation for political activities in the area. For party members and supporters in Half Assini and the surrounding communities, the project represents an important step towards establishing a more permanent and accessible base for constituency-level activities. Beyond providing office space, the facility is expected to enhance coordination among party stakeholders, improve communication, and support the organisation of programmes aimed at strengthening the party's presence at the grassroots. The initiative also sends a message about the importance of unity and shared responsibility in achieving organisational goals. At a time when effective coordination is essential for political mobilisation and community engagement, the cooperation between the two leaders offers an example of how working together can help advance common interests. As work on the project progresses, attention will be focused on its completion and the role the facility will play in supporting party activities across the Jomoro Constituency. The development at Half Assini therefore stands as a practical demonstration of collaboration between local and parliamentary leadership, with the ultimate objective of strengthening the party's structures and bringing its activities closer to the people.
