Jomoro MP Donates Over 30 Motorcycles to NDC Coordinators.

Jomoro MP Donates Over 30 Motorcycles to NDC Coordinators.

As part of the efforts to strengthen the grassroots networks ahead of the next general elections in the year 2028, the Member of Parliament for Jomoro Constituency in the Western Region, Dorcas Affo-Toffey, has donated more than 30 motorcycles to National Democratic Congress (NDC) coordinators in the Constituency.

The MP, who is also the Deputy Transport Minister, said the donation comes as political parties begin strengthening their grassroots to improve mobility and facilitate their work, particularly in hard-to-reach communities.

The donation follows requests from the constituency's NDC coordinators for better access to remote areas, where transportation challenges have reportedly affected their ability to carry out grassroots activities.

According to the deputy minister, the gesture is aimed at strengthening the party's grassroots structures and ensuring that coordinators can reach more communities and engage effectively with residents.

Madam Affo-Toffey reaffirmed a commitment to promoting unity within the party and providing the necessary logistical support to improve the work of grassroots organisers ahead of the 2028 general elections.

The initiative, the deputy minister said, forms part of ongoing efforts to build stronger grassroots structures and empower party coordinators to serve their communities more effectively.

The donation is also expected to improve movement across the constituency, particularly in areas where poor road access and long distances make community engagement difficult.

The Deputy Minister called for continued collaboration among party members and supporters, stressing the importance of unity and collective effort in building a stronger NDC and contributing to Ghana's development.

The donation comes as political parties begin strengthening their grassroots networks ahead of the next general elections in 2028.
