Breaking News: OVER 60 YEAR-OLD MAN FOUND STRANGELY IN A LOCKED PRIVATE CAR.



Residents of Abronsannum off Berekum-Siekwa road in the Berekum East of the Bono region on this morning Thursday 5th February, 2026 have woke up in shock to see yet another strange man found in a packed and locked car that attracted over thousands of Berekum people to the scene.


A packed private car with registration number AS 2142-11 owned by a school proprietor left the car locked and traveled but only to find out by the residents that the owner is not around but can now be seen that, an old man from nowhere is in the car with all doors locked.


Speaking to eyewitnesses on the issue on how come a packed and locked car could be seen by a third party which took the intervention of the police to take him out of the car, they say is strange.

A shop keeper, Edward Amponsah who operates at the location explained that, he saw the man after opening his shop and thought the man was a fitter who was to work on the car but upon interrogation, he got to know that, the old man is an intruder while the owner of the car is even not around and everyone is wondering how the old man managed to get into the car. 


Edward Amponsah continue that they see the whole thing as strange and wonderful to see such an old man getting into someone packed and locked in a car which he too cannot just get out of the car in the way and manner he gets in if he so entered by himself into the car.


A sister to the car owner, Barikisu Agyemang also added that, this is very shocking because his brother has traveled and locked the car but she finds it hard to understand how the man managed to enter into the car.


She added, they have leave everything to God because only God can understand but according to information gathered, the owner of the car has traveled to seek spiritual direction which after traveled this incident has happened his property.


The man has since been retrieve from the car and is in police custody for further investigation by the Ghana Police service.

25-Year-Old Young Man Electrocuted in Berekum . A suspected thief by the name Oboshie in his 25 years has been electrocuted at Berekum Nyamebekyere in the Berekum East Municipal of the Bono region . According to eye-witnesses, the suspected thief's lifeless body was found on the food vendor metal container as he attempted to steal from the container of the vendor who operates in a metal container. His death attracted a crowd of the Berekum people to the scene on the street of Nyamebekyere as everyone wants to catch a glimpse of the deceased over the incident of frequent robbery attacks and stealing in the Municipality.
