DORMAAMANHEMAA ORGANIZED MASSIVE CLEAN-UP EXERCISES AT ABESIM.

As part of her 25th anniversary celebration of her  leadership, Odeneho Dr Akosua Fimah Dwabeng ll, the Queen Mother of Dormaa   Traditional Council have organized a massive clean-up exercises in all the Paramouncey in the Dormaa kingdoms including Sunyani Abesim, Kotokrom, New Dormaa, Yawhiman and Chiraa.


The theme for the 25th silver celebration of enstoolment of HRM Odeneho Dr. Akosua Fimah Dwabeng ll is "women emancipation in traditional leadership" which will be crowned on 20th December at  Abanpredease palace of Dormaa Ahenkro in the Bono Region. 


The clean-up exercises attracted all the traditional leaders of Abesim  Dormaa Kyidom Divisional council led by the Queen Mother of Abesim  Nana Ama Kwrama Bie thanked the people of Abesim for showing up to clean the environment especially for their participation in the clean-up exercise in honor of HRM Odeneho Dr. Akosua Fimah Dwabeng ll  .




Nana Ama Kwrama Bie (Abesimhemaa) added that, as the queen mother, she is going to champion the women and children empowerment and to ensure unity in sustain at the Abesim community and its environs. 



HRM Odeneho Dr. Akosua Fimah Dwabeng ll on her part also expressed her appreciation to all the Dormaa  Paramouncy for their participation in the clean–up  exercis.


She said that, as she is celebrating  her 25th silver julibee, she is going to emancipate  women in  traditional  leadership.


She therefore called on all the people of Dormaa Traditional Area to rally behind her to support the silver julibee celebration.

25-Year-Old Young Man Electrocuted in Berekum . A suspected thief by the name Oboshie in his 25 years has been electrocuted at Berekum Nyamebekyere in the Berekum East Municipal of the Bono region . According to eye-witnesses, the suspected thief's lifeless body was found on the food vendor metal container as he attempted to steal from the container of the vendor who operates in a metal container. His death attracted a crowd of the Berekum people to the scene on the street of Nyamebekyere as everyone wants to catch a glimpse of the deceased over the incident of frequent robbery attacks and stealing in the Municipality.
