NPP Flagbearer Race: Berekum East Delegates Endorses Dr Bawumia as he refutes he is not the worse performing flagbeare in NPP.

The heat of NPP Presidential candidate primaries gradually being stare up among the 5 contesting candidates with each against one opponent or the other, Dr. Bawumia has reached with his tour to the Bono region to interact with the party delegates in the region.


Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia visit to the Berekum East Constituency saw a massive crowd of delegates to welcome him at the Berekum College of Education Auditorium.


The Berekum East Constituency delegates who voted against Dr. Bawumia in 2023 November 4th NPP presidential primaries has promised to vote in his favor this time round and will not disappoint him.

The NPP Chairman of Berekum East, Mr Kwaku Kamkam stressed and assured that, the delegates in the constituency will this time vote for Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia and will not repeat the mistake they did to themselves to vote against his candidature.


Dr. Mamud Bawumia called on all the delegates to rally behind him as he refuted all claims that he is not fit for the position especially on the allegations that, he is the worse performing Flagbearer in the 2024 elections, but said they are all lies because with the past records of NPP Presidential candidates from Adu Boahen to President Kuffour till date, if we are to compared all the previous NPP flagbearers, he has been the best performing candidate with 41% record in the last elections.


He said all those allegations against him are not true and those alleging that do not have the data backing their claims hence the delegates should vote for him com 31st January, 2026.

He said, for now the delegates should hold unto what he can do than allowing themselves to be lured into liars and allegations, adding that the 4 candidates, he is currently holding the candidature barton which non of them can take it out from unless they force allegations against him but said once he is with the baton no one can claim it from him hence they are peddling false information about him.
