NGO Brings Joy and Support to Good Shepherd Orphanage in Kasoa.
The God's Coming Kingdom Foundation, a non-governmental organization (NGO), brought smiles and essential relief to the children of the Good Shepherd Orphanage Home in Kasoa, Ofankor, with a generous donation of food and other items.
The organization presented a considerable quantity of provisions, including four bags of rice, tomato paste, tins of milk, sugar, cooking utensils, bags of pure water, and toiletries, all aimed at ensuring the children have a comfortable and joyful period.
Mr. Solomon Nyarko Abronoma, the CEO of God's Coming Kingdom Foundation, emphasized that the donation was part of their humanitarian responsibility.
Speaking with Accra FM/CTV/ALRICH24TVNEWSGH.BLOGSPOT.COM news reporter Apelete Kofi Michel, Mr. Abronoma stated his belief that the government alone cannot meet all the needs of the less privileged. We need individuals and organizations to step in and support these causes, he urged.
He specifically called on Ghanaians to unite and contribute towards nation-building, highlighting the crucial need to show love and support to the less privileged, especially orphans. Mr. Abronoma expressed gratitude to his sponsors, whose support made the donation possible.
The CEO explained that members of the NGO were deeply touched by the plight of the children at the Home, prompting the decision to donate the items to address some of their immediate challenges.
He voiced his hope that the provisions would significantly help the children in their education so they can become responsible adults and valuable contributors to society's development.
Rev. Nimako Boateng, head of the Good Shepherd Orphanage, received the items and expressed his profound gratitude to the God's Coming Kingdom Foundation for their, kind gesture, describing the timely donation as God-send.
He thanked the NGO and took the opportunity to appeal to other NGOs and well-meaning members of society to come to the aid of the Home.
Rev. Boateng noted the numerous challenges facing the orphanage and specifically requested financial assistance to cover critical expenses such as school fees for the children and light bills.
