Businessman "Timeless" Organizes Football Gala to Unite Suhum Youth.

Mr. Kelvin Brown, a young businessman based in Germany and known locally as "Timeless," has organized a football gala for eight communities within the Suhum Municipality as part of this year's Easter celebrations. 


The initiative was aimed to foster peaceful co-existence among the youth and identify promising football talent in the area.


The participating communities were Adarkwa, Gariba Zongo, Suhum Newtown, Omenako, Ayekotse, Jato, Nankese, and Okanta. 


A very attractive prizes were at stake, with the winning team set to receive GH₵ 10,000.00, the runner-up GH₵ 5,000, the third-place team GH₵ 3,000, and even the last-place team taking home GH₵ 2,000.



Addressing the teams, Mr. Brown emphasized on his believe that football has a power to unite Ghanaians and hope that the gala would serve as a platform for young talents to launch their football careers.


Beyond talent discovery, he stressed the importance of community unity and peaceful coexistence. Mr. Brown advised the young players to maintain discipline and continuously work on improving their skills to stand out and secure their positions within their teams.


In an interview with Alrich24newsgh.blogspot.com news reporter Apelete Kofi-Michel, he also called for a broader national discussion on developing sports in the Suhum Municipality to nurture local talent for both individual and community benefit.


Highlighting the issue of unemployment, Mr. Brown noted that, events like this football competition inject enthusiasm and offer a positive alternative for unemployed youth, potentially preventing them from engaging in drug and substance abuse during the Easter season.


He expressed his gratitude to the chiefs and elders of the Municipality for their support in maintaining peace within the communities.


He also urged the youth to celebrate responsibly during the holidays, emphasizing their crucial role in national development.


Several coaches of the participating teams expressed confidence in their respective teams' chances of winning the top prize.


This football gala, organized by Mr. Kelvin Brown "Timeless," represents a significant effort to promote youth development, unity, and talent discovery within the Suhum Municipality.
