Bono Regional Minister Wage War into an Emerging Berekum-Benkasa Galamsey Activities.


The fight against galamsey activities is gradually seeing the momentum it deserves in the Bono region as all efforts to eradicate the canker is yielding results 


The Berekum Traditional Council together with the Municipal and District Security Council of both Berekum East and West as well as the two Members of Parliament for both constituencies respectively,visited the galamsey site over the weekend.They expressed their dissatisfaction about the preparation works of galamsey invaders at Berekum-Benkasa.


The Bono Regional Minister, Hon. Joseph Akoboah Addae has assured that, the attention of the Bono Regional security council has been drawn to the galamsey activities at Benkasa and his team is ready to undertake an operation to destroy every equipment at the galamsey site. They therefore threatened the owners of the site to prepare to evacuate everything from the place.


Hon. Joseph Akoboah Addae again gave a stern warning to land owners at Benkasa who have given their lands to galamseyers to desist from such activities since the region is not ready to entertain any galamsey activities and if they refuse, they will be arrested no matter who is involved.

NSOATRE TRADITIONAL COUNCIL CONDEMNS THE VIOLENCE ACT THAT RESULTED THE DEATH OF KOTOKO SUPPORTER. The Nsoatre Traditional Council has condemns the uncouth behavour of some of the football fans that led to the untimely death of an ardent supporter of Kumasi Asante Football Club.  According to Nsuatre Traditional Council this  unfortunate behaviour happened on the stool land of Nsoatre which the council sees as unfortunate due to the cordial relationship between Nsoatreman and Asanteman which is dated back to 1740. THE SKY TRAIN SAGA—WIld Goose Chase. The Sky Train project which received considerable media coverage during Nana Akufo-Addo’s regime has resurfaced. This time, a purported amount of 2million dollars assigned for the project cannot be traced( according to Ghana’s Attorney General and Minister for Justice).
