Chaos Erupts at Parliament Ministerial Appointment Committee as NDC/NPP MP's Clash.

The Appointment Committee of Parliament during a vetting proceedings 30th January, 2025 has been suspended over a confusion that erupted during the vetting of the Ministers of Health and Foreign Affairs designate Hon. Kwabena Mintah Akando and Hon. Samuel Okogyato Ablakwa.

The situation which lasted over an hour led to the destruction of some physical materials at the Parliament conference room where especially tables and microphones were tempered and destroyed including the doors.



The Majority leader, Hon. Mahama Ayariga speaking to the media after the chaos at the appointment committee, call for the closure of the sitting since the affected equipments cannot be fix instantly to pave way for the continuation of the vetting hence the sitting has to be suspended till tomorrow untill the gadgets will be replaced or a relocation is find and settled to allow the vetting to be continued.


He took the opportunity to advised his colleague members to be circumspect of their questions and be straight to the issue onboard to avoid wastage of time.

NSOATRE TRADITIONAL COUNCIL CONDEMNS THE VIOLENCE ACT THAT RESULTED THE DEATH OF KOTOKO SUPPORTER. The Nsoatre Traditional Council has condemns the uncouth behavour of some of the football fans that led to the untimely death of an ardent supporter of Kumasi Asante Football Club.  According to Nsuatre Traditional Council this  unfortunate behaviour happened on the stool land of Nsoatre which the council sees as unfortunate due to the cordial relationship between Nsoatreman and Asanteman which is dated back to 1740.
