Osagyefo Oseadeayo Dr. Agyeman Badu II Celebrates 25 Years of Leadership with Kwafie Festival 2024.

The Dormaahene and President of the Bono Regional House of Chiefs, Osagyefo Oseadeayo Dr. Agyeman Badu II, has marked a significant milestone in his leadership journey, celebrating 25 years on the stool. This momentous occasion was commemorated with the Kwafie Festival 2024, which featured a grand durbar attended by chiefs from various regions in Ghana and neighboring countries.

During his speech, Osagyefo Oseadeayo Dr. Agyeman Badu II expressed his heartfelt gratitude to God Almighty, the Dormaa kingmakers, and the people of Dormaa. He acknowledged that without their support, he would not have risen from being a young lawyer and magistrate to his current position of leadership.

The Dormaahene emphasized the importance of serving God Almighty, regardless of one's religious affiliation. He urged his audience to prioritize their service to God, recognizing that no leader can claim to be the creator except God Almighty.

Osagyefo Oseadeayo Dr. Agyeman Badu II also reflected on his past conversations with elders, which have inspired him to do more for the youth who look up to him. He made a commitment to be a non-corrupt leader, vowing to build factories in Dormaa and potentially extending this development to the Bono Region and Ghana as a whole.

The event, held at the Nana Agyeman Badu I (NAB 1) stadium, was attended by a massive crowd.

Obrempong Dr. Yeboah Asuama, the Manhene of Atebubu Traditional Area and chairman of the occasion, addressed the gathering, emphasizing that personal wealth and material possessions are fleeting, while development endures for generations.

Dr. Asuama urged the chiefs to prioritize the development of their people, reminding them that true progress begins at home. He concluded by cautioning landowners to participate in national development initiatives, as these efforts benefit everyone.

The Kwafie Festival 2024 and the 25th-anniversary celebration of Osagyefo Oseadeayo Dr. Agyeman Badu II's leadership have reaffirmed his commitment to the welfare and development of his people. As he continues to lead by example, his legacy as a visionary leader will undoubtedly endure for generations to come.
