Frequent egg price hikes is gradually collapsing eggs business. 

Dormaa Akonsra Kontihemaa and Queen Mother of Egg Sellers Association of Bono, Nana Yaa Kumi Yeboaa, has launched a campaign against egg sellers in the nation's capital Accra who fail to pay Dormaa egg suppliers. 


This initiative serves as a reminder of unfair practices which will ultimately have consequences on the egg business food chain and a fair market practices needs to be adopted for sustainable distribution.


Miss Bernice Kumi, (Treasurer of Women in Poultry Value Chain and Secretary of the National Egg Sellers Association,) passionately appealed to poultry farmers to reconsider frequent price increases. She emphasized that eggs from Dormaa are not the only ones in the market, and it's essential to maintain fair prices.


Miss Bernice Kumi, on behalf of the association, humbly requested poultry farmers to reassess their pricing strategies, considering the broader market dynamics.


 the importance of fair trade practices and sustainable pricing in the egg industry, ensuring that all stakeholders, including farmers, suppliers, and consumers, benefit equitably.

Sunyani East, Kotokrom-New Dormaa Tarred Road Gets Second Seal. The ongoing construction of the major road of the New Dormaa-Kotokrom road in the Sunyani Municipality of the Bono Region which was recently primer sealed for the final seal started today Saturday 16th March. 2024 to complete the one-sided of the road. Government has intention of asphalting that high way in the near future. For the mean tine it is being tarred to prepare grounds for an asphalt overlay.
