Dormaa Akonsra Kontihemaa and Queen Mother of Egg Sellers Association of Bono, Nana Yaa Kumi Yeboaa, has launched a campaign against egg sellers in the nation's capital Accra who fail to pay Dormaa egg suppliers.
This initiative serves as a reminder of unfair practices which will ultimately have consequences on the egg business food chain and a fair market practices needs to be adopted for sustainable distribution.
Miss Bernice Kumi, (Treasurer of Women in Poultry Value Chain and Secretary of the National Egg Sellers Association,) passionately appealed to poultry farmers to reconsider frequent price increases. She emphasized that eggs from Dormaa are not the only ones in the market, and it's essential to maintain fair prices.
