Dormaa Twafohemaa Urge Ghanaian Youth to Change Their Attitude Towards Work.

Nana Afia Adoma, Twafohemaa of Dormaa Traditional Area  as well as Kofiasuahemaa, and Kotodwehemaa, has send a word of warning to the Ghanaian youth about their attitude towards work which is hindering their potential to productivity. 


She made this statement after a successful clean-up exercise at Kofiasua to ensure there will a high sanitation standard in the community. 


Nana Afia Adoma highlighted that, there are an abundance of job opportunities within the country but lamented that because of the following reasons, some people have been reluctant to offer most the youth business opportunities including:


1. Stealing: Some youth has have an attitude of steal from their employers hence preventing others from creating jobs for the youth.


2. Absenteeism: Others fail to show up to work when they are being employed.

3. Laziness: Many youth display a lackadaisical attitude towards productivity hence it cannot boost others to open business for the youth.



She stressed that these negative attitudes undermine the community's progress and economic growth.




Call to Action.

Nana Afia Adoma urged the youth to:


1. Embrace Hard Work; Develop a strong work ethics towards productivity. 

2. Honesty; Demonstrate integrity in their professional lives

3. Initiative; Seize opportunities and be proactive to transform situations. 


The clean-up exercise has been served as a platform for Nana Afia Adoma to help instill and inculcate values of responsibility and diligence in the lives of the youth within his catchment area.

BEREKUM TRADITIONAL COUNCIL ACCEPT EIGHT GAZETTED CHIEFS

EIGHT (8) CHIEFS OF BEREKUM TRADITIONAL AREA GAZETTED AS DIVISIONAL CHIEFS IN BEREKUM TRADITIONAL COUNCIL. A number of eight (8) Chiefs in the Berekum Traditional Area have performed their oaths of secrecy to be gazetted as the divisional chiefs of Berekum Traditional Council. The chiefs, numbering 8, got their titles as "Osaberima" to be added to their traditional and rulership names. A high court judge, Justice Baayeh, on the 6th day of November 2018, led the chiefs to sworn in the oaths of secrecy before a certificates of recognition was issued to the chiefs as a divisional chiefs. The gazetted 8 chiefs has been granted the opportunity and right to be part of any sittings of the traditional council and by so doing, all the 8 chiefs have been approved by the government of Ghana to be part of the judicial committee of the Berekum Traditional Council.
