Asuntene-watchman Traditional Area Gets New Sub-Chiefs.

The Chief of Asuntene-Watchman traditional area in the Bono Region, Nana Yeboah Asiamah, has installed new Sub-Chiefs to cooperate with him to develop Asuntene community.


A ceremony was held at the Asuntene-watchman durbar grounds to initiate a sixteen sub-Chiefs and queens from various divisions in the community.


The sixteen divisional chiefs and queens successfully went through the various traditional rites to confirm them traditionally, swore the oath of allegiance and officially accepted as members of Asuntene-watchman traditional area on 14th October, 2024.


The newly insatlled sub chiefs and queens are: Nana Okyere Darko Ampem-(Krontihene) and Nana Ekua Kyerekuaa Ampem-(Krontihemaa), Nana Kwabena Boahen Anantuo-(Nifahene) and Nana Nyarko Abronoma-(Nifahemaa), Nana Yiadom Adakwa-(Adontenhene) and Nana Akua Abrefi-(Adontenhemaa), Nana Mensah Abrampa (Kyidomhen and Nana Gyamaa Krotwi-(Kyidomhemaa), Nana Tetteh Korletey-(Sanahene) and Nana Akua Obisi Ayerkie-(Sanahemaa), Nana Atta Krufi-(Kyeame), Nana Kusi Mensah-(Mmrantehene), Nana Kpen Kwame-(Dakatihene), Nana Frimpomaa Adakabre-(Asuntene-watchman Hemaa) and Nana Yeboah Asiamah-(Asuntene-watchman Hene), Nana Kwasi Twi Aprebi-(Ankobeahene), Nana Kwasi Bodua (Kyeamehene).


Nana Yeboah Asiamah, Chief of Asuntene-watchman in an address, called on the newly installed chiefs and queens to exhibit exemplary qualities of leadership and to be agents of change for progress and peace in their community.

EIGHT (8) CHIEFS OF BEREKUM TRADITIONAL AREA GAZETTED AS DIVISIONAL CHIEFS IN BEREKUM TRADITIONAL COUNCIL.
