People in authority must be given counseling - Apostle John.

A religious leader in Techiman, in the Bono East Region, has expressed his dissatisfaction with Dr. Mathew Opoku Prempeh's (Napo) on his recent remarks about Kwame Nkrumah and urged that counseling should be provided to hold people in authority accountable.

The Public Relations Officer for Ambassadors for Christ for Apostles Pentecostal Ministry International (APMI), Apostle John Erezola, states that traditional leaders and stakeholders should not shy away from voicing their displeasure against government actions or inactions when necessary.

According to Apostle John, in an exclusive interview with Apiah-Kubi on Fabea FM's "Me Man Ho Dadwen," it is the responsibility of the religious community, stakeholders, and traditional leaders to provide representation on behalf of the people in the country.

He stated, "our utterances in this country without thinking about its consequences will be a negative impact in the country's destructive".

Apostle John made these comments in response to Napo's comparison of the achievements of the late Dr. Kwame Nkrumah and Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo-Addo during his unveiling as the running mate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).

In addition to Apostle John's displeasure, he stated that Napo's apology should be rejected, saying the letter of apology lacks credible evidence of regret.
