Nsoatreman Concern Citizen Association (NCCA) is a non-profit organisation that has been formed by the people of Nsoatre both home and abroad devoid of politics, religious, traditional and faction to help build collective development in the Nsuatre community in the Sunyani West Municipal of the Bono region.


In press conference held to address some challenges facing the town on Friday 26th July, 2024, the secretary of the Association, Mark Amponsah Tabiri lamented on some of the serious problems the town is facing is especially on their roads which has never seen any change since time memorial and because of many potholes are their roads they use to experience accidents and crashes on the roads.


He elaborated that, Nsoatre is among some of the towns that supply food to the nation and because their roads are not good most of the food are stuck in the farms since the linking roads from rural communities to Nsoatre has been abandoned which drivers cannot ply on the roads.



He emphasised on the sanitation challenges which includes waste containers that needs to be supply to their waste sites even Nsoatre market do not have a single waste container for their weekly Friday market which the market has been mard with waste all over during market days.

Mark Tabiri again explained that, most of the youth at Nsoatre are unemployed though is a national canker but was swift to called on authorities to help create employable jobs in the community to help the youth get jobs to reduce the unemployment rate at Nsoatre.





He commended the Nsoatre concern citizens living in abroad for helping to stock the Nsoatre clinic with a modern equipment to boost the eye center to make it one of the best eye clinic in the Bono region.


He added that, the Nsoatre Concern Citizens living abroad has a great vision for the town but left with leadership to start development which they will will in turn come in to help bring transformation to Nsoatre town since they are ever poised to bring chnage to the town.

THE SKY TRAIN SAGA—WIld Goose Chase. The Sky Train project which received considerable media coverage during Nana Akufo-Addo’s regime has resurfaced. This time, a purported amount of 2million dollars assigned for the project cannot be traced( according to Ghana’s Attorney General and Minister for Justice). Our investigation into the matter reveals  the following facts. 1.The erstwhile Ministry of Railways Development has stated categorically that government did not allocate any funds for the Sky Train Project.  2. The Ministry managed to support the preparation of a 300 page PRE-FEASIBILITY report which was the basis for discussions with an investor group, Ai Sky Train Consortium ( a subsidiary of Africa Investor Consortium based in South Africa). 3. GIIF ( Ghana Infrastructural Investment Fund) was set up in 2014 to partner the Private Sector to promote infrastructural development.
