KOFI ADANE MAKES DONATIONS TO BLIND UNION-BEREKUM AS PART OF HIS BIRTHDAY.

The CEO of Thinkaid Foundation, Henry Kofi Adane ( Borga1), who lives in the UK has donated food and other vital items to the Ghana Blind Union in the Berekum East Municipality of the Bono region as part of his 40th birthday celebration on Saturday 24th February 2024. 


The items donated were well received by the leaders of the blind union in Berekum. The donations were presented on behalf of CEO Mr. Henry Kofi Adane ( Borga 1), by the management of Thinkaid Foundation.  


The items presented include detergents, biscuits, cookies, cooking oil, rice and among other items.  


Speaking on behalf of the CEO, Mr Amos Obeng,  explained that, it has been the vision of the foundation to support the needy in society and therefore, supporting the blind Union-Berekum,  is one of the core priorities of the ThinkAid Foundation.





The mission of the ThinkAid Foundation is to support the less privileged people in rural and deprived communities in the fields of health, education, accommodation, poverty, Job training, Imprisonment, and Physical and Mental disabilities.

Other executive members of the foundation who were present during the presentation are Anthony Gyabaah -Financial Secretary, Agnes Nana Yaa Fosuaa- Welfare Officer, Waasiu Azeez-Office Secretary, Richard Adu Manu(PapaRichy)-Communication Member, Kwaku Kyere Diabour-Communication Member, Razak Abdul, Emmanuel Aboroway..


The leader of the organisation believes, there is no better day than putting some smile on the faces of the blind Union members on his birthday, an occasion that may be a memorial to all especially those in need. 





Receiving the items on behalf of the blind union, Nana Kwame ( Crucial) thanked the CEO of Thinkaid Foundation, Henry Kofi Adane and the delegation who represented him during the presentation, for coming to their aid in hard times like this and he believes this donation will go a long to help the blind people.


Again, the president of the blind union, Nana Kwame ( Crucial), commended the team for such support in projecting his dreams. 


The birthday celebrations of Kofi Adane, for many occasions, come with donations, especially to the Sunyani central prison inmates, and free street feeding to mentally challenged people among many other donations. Here we go happy birthday to the CEO of Thinkaid Foundation, Borga 1.

BEREKUM TRADITIONAL COUNCIL ACCEPT EIGHT GAZETTED CHIEFS

EIGHT (8) CHIEFS OF BEREKUM TRADITIONAL AREA GAZETTED AS DIVISIONAL CHIEFS IN BEREKUM TRADITIONAL COUNCIL. A number of eight (8) Chiefs in the Berekum Traditional Area have performed their oaths of secrecy to be gazetted as the divisional chiefs of Berekum Traditional Council. The chiefs, numbering 8, got their titles as "Osaberima" to be added to their traditional and rulership names. A high court judge, Justice Baayeh, on the 6th day of November 2018, led the chiefs to sworn in the oaths of secrecy before a certificates of recognition was issued to the chiefs as a divisional chiefs. The gazetted 8 chiefs has been granted the opportunity and right to be part of any sittings of the traditional council and by so doing, all the 8 chiefs have been approved by the government of Ghana to be part of the judicial committee of the Berekum Traditional Council. Berekum Omanhene Nana Kofi Asante Krobea has officially been nominated today at Manhyia Palace by the Omanhemaa of Berekum Nana Akosua Ameyaahene II. After a long anticipation over who would become the next paramount chief of Berekum Traditional Area of the Bono region which was gradually delaying in the selection of the next occupant of the Berekum paramount seat has been resolved amicably for the selection of Chief Nana Kofi Asante Krobea by Otumfuo Osei Tutu II. Nana Kofi Asante Krobea has officially been unveiled, nominated and presented to the Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II at the Manhyia palace today, 18th May, 2026.
