WATCH VIDEO: IF YOU DON'T HAVE MONEY NEVER TRY TO CONTEST FOR AN NPP PARLIAMENTARY SEAT, DELEGATES WILL VOTE AGAINST YOU-NPP ASPIRANT FUMES.

The Dean of the Faculty of Arts at the University of Cape Coast (UCC) who was a former New Patriotic Party (NPP) Parliamentary aspirant two times (2015 & 2019) at Dormaa East Constituency in the Bono region, Professor. Kwabena Sarfo Sarfo-Kantankah ( SAFORO) has failed to contest for the 3rd time as a Parliamentary aspirant due to some challenges beyond his control.

The former Constituency researcher, and party agent at the collation Centre at Dormaa East, categorically stated that it's no longer rewarding to serve the NPP party at the grassroots level since anyone can gather money to snatch a seat at any time without even working from the grassroots.

Prof Sarfo-Kantankah made this known together with some party polling station executives, and electoral area coordinators among others in a meeting at Wamfie. He emphasized that he has supported the party since 1996, till now but has nothing to show how faithful he has been to the party.

The Dean of the Faculty of Arts at UCC was unhappy with the way some unknown people trailed him anyhow whenever they saw his presence in the constituency, some polling station executives denys and intimidated delegates known to be his supporters.

But he was quick to say he would do anything possible to support his party come 2024, however upon advice given him by some elders in the party, he won't contest this year.

Finally, some coordinators and delegates expressed concern and worry overhearing what he was going through in the constituency and called the party to sit up since the district-level election results must be a wake-up call for the party to do things right.
