Chief Justice Implore Ghanaians to Avoid Exploitation at Every Corner We Find Ourselves.

Chief Justice of Ghana, Her Ladyship Justice Gertrude Torkornoo has entreated Ghanaians to desist from being exploitive towards one another. According to her corruption doesn't always come from the top but also from citizens who are well-to-do in society.

She cited examples such as people in power trying to use their power to exploit the vulnerable, government workers exploiting the nation, and sellers selling their goods at unreasonable prices among others.

She urges Ghanaians to avoid being exploitive to one another as it places Ghana high on the corruption index of nations which dents the image of the nation.

Her Ladyship Justice Gertrude Tokornoo was speaking at the annual National Thanksgiving service which is being organised by Aglow International on the theme: Ghana will magnify God with thanksgiving.

The Non-denominational Thanksgiving service for Ghanaians brought together members of the Christian faith to thank God for peace in the country.

Dr. Dorothy Danso, the National President, Aglow International Ghana, delivering her address says God has among other things kept the peace of the nation by His power secured the country's borders from incursions and sustained the nation through turbulent times by his mercies. Therefore there's the need for Ghanaians to appreciate Him and also re-dedicate the coming year to God for His guidance and protection.
