Berekum East NDC Parliamentary Candidate Gift's GHC70,000 to Reshape Sofokyere and Kyerebaa abandoned roads, a Christmas gift Berekum People cannot forget. 


An Aspiring NDC Parliamentary Candidate for Berekum East Constituency of the Bono Region, Hon. Elder Simon Amparbeng Kyeremeh has donated a whooping sum of money to reshape some abandoned roads in the Berekum Municipality ahead of Christmas.


Some of the roads that needed critical attention included roads linking from Kato-Berling junction to Sofo Kyere's last stop and Kyerebaa were reshaped to make the roads motorable for drivers and residents plying them in this Christmas festivities.


Speaking to the aspiring member of parliament, Hon. Apaebeng lamented that, the people of Berekum cannot be taken for granted, since the residents of Sofo Kyere and Kyerebaa suffering from bad roads for a very long time because the contractors have abandoned the roads leaving the residents plying on unmotorable roads.



He said, that though he is aspiring for the seat, he cannot sit idle for the people of Berekum to suffer hence his plan to reshape the roads out of his pocket as a gift to the people of Berekum.


According to him, the situation is very bad and the authorities of Berekum have left their job undone and have disregarded the people they are leading.


He therefore called on the people of Berekum to task their leaders with their mandate else Berekum will not see any development and the people will suffer the results of what is happening on Kyerebaa and Sofo Kyere roads.



Alri h24newsgh.blogspot.com speaking to some of the deivers and residents that ply these roads commended the aspiring member of the participant, Hon. Elder Simon Amparbeng Kyeremeh for reshaping the roads for them, a gift they can never forget this year's Christmas as drivers.


They again call on him to keep doing what he is doing and they will remember him. come next year because he has proven to them what he is capable of in the coming 2024 elections.

The announcement of the demise of the Berekum Traditional leader was done today Friday 9th June 2023 by the chief spiritualist of Berekum Nana Komfo Kofi who was asked to take care of the health of the paramount chief but on his announcement, the paramount chief could not make it but joined his ancestors. Dasebre Dr Amankona Diawuo II was a doctor by profession and an active Church elder of the Church of Pentecost who serve the people of Berekum with calm and peaceful leadership who seek to maintain peace and unity after 17 years of chieftaincy dispute during his reign as the paramount chief of Berekum. A Student of Ghana National College from Sunyani-Chiraa Scores 8A's in 2023 WASSCE.  A Senior High Student of Ghana National College in Cape Coast, Owusu Peprah Priscilla who hails from Chiraa in the Sunyani West Municipality of the Bono Region has also scored 8A's in the West Africa Secondary School Certificate Examination (WASSCE).  Her effort and the results she obtained have brought great joy to her family and the people of Chiraa without hesitation wishing her congratulations on most of the social media platforms.
