Former President John Dramani Mahama together with NDC National Chairman Hon. Johnson Asiedu Nkatia, Bono Regional Chairman and a host of National, Regional and Constituency NDC Executives with their supporter hugely paid homage to the people of Berekum to show their last respect to the the late Omanhene of Berekum, Dasebre Dr Amankona-Diawuo II.

Sunyani East, Kotokrom-New Dormaa Tarred Road Gets Second Seal. The ongoing construction of the major road of the New Dormaa-Kotokrom road in the Sunyani Municipality of the Bono Region which was recently primer sealed for the final seal started today Saturday 16th March. 2024 to complete the one-sided of the road. Government has intention of asphalting that high way in the near future. For the mean tine it is being tarred to prepare grounds for an asphalt overlay.
