DORMAA EAST DCE HANDED OVER FIVE(5) BEDROOM APARTMENT TO WAMFIE DISTRICT POLICE COMMWND.

The Dormaa East District Assembly led by Hon Emmanuel Kofi Agyeman who is the District Chief Executive of Dormaa East together with the Assembly has handed over keys to a five bedroom apartments to Police service of the Wamfie District in the Bono Region.


Addressing the gathering, the DCE hailed the police service for their hard work in reducing the crime rate drastically in the district and has vowed to continue to provide amenities that will help them work effectively.


He said the Assembly will keep working èffèictively with the Police Service thus why they have provided for them the 5 bedroom apartment and commended the Traditional authoritues for their support to build the District Police Headquarters for the police and he will not relent on his support to the police. 


The Mansen Gyaasehene, Nana Diamono Asamoah Kokote Kumi commended the assembly for taking the security in the district paramount and urged the police to work selflessly and professionally to protect the people in the district.



The Assistant Commissioner of Police ACP Anthony Appiah who is the Dormaa Divisional Police Commander, thanked the assembly for providing barracks for the police service and urged other districts emulate same to enhance the security of the citizens.

NSOATRE TRADITIONAL COUNCIL CONDEMNS THE VIOLENCE ACT THAT RESULTED THE DEATH OF KOTOKO SUPPORTER. The Nsoatre Traditional Council has condemns the uncouth behavour of some of the football fans that led to the untimely death of an ardent supporter of Kumasi Asante Football Club.  According to Nsuatre Traditional Council this  unfortunate behaviour happened on the stool land of Nsoatre which the council sees as unfortunate due to the cordial relationship between Nsoatreman and Asanteman which is dated back to 1740.
