Berekum East Member of Parliament Officailly Commissions Biadan Polyclinic.

The Member of Parliament (MP) for Berekum East Constituency in the Bono Region, Honorable Nelson Kwaku Kyeremeh has on Friday 3rd November, 2023 commissioned the Biadan Polyclinic for the people of Biadan, Senase, Kato, Magazine and Berekum as a whole for public use.

Speaking at the Commissioning ceremony, the MP who hails from the town explained that, the facility was constructed purposely to attend to the healthcare needs of the people in the area with or without money to save lives.

According to him, if not without good intentions, the facility couldn't have been built or even tuned as a private hospital but with much consideration, all the cost has been bored by the MP and his family to support the people of Biadan.

He took the opportunity to advised the people of Biadan to support the health workers of the facility to manage and maintain it for the purpose for which it was constructed

He again renew the health insurance card freely for most of the people at Biadan whose cards has expired for than one year them to be able to enable the people to have access to the clinic.

He added that, the clinic will comprises with staff accommodation and other facilities to enhance smooth operation of work.

The MCE of Berekum East Municipality, Hon. Kofi Adjei also commended the Member of Parliament for the hard work to commission and handover the Polyclinic to the people of Biadan to promote the healthcare services of the people in the area.

On behalf of the people, the incoming Assembly Member for Biadan East Electoral Area, Mr. Bismark Yeboah thanked the MP for constructing the health facility for them and believes this will be the last thing the people will get from the MP but plead on him to help complete the link road between Baidan and Senase for the people.

Sunyani East, Kotokrom-New Dormaa Tarred Road Gets Second Seal. The ongoing construction of the major road of the New Dormaa-Kotokrom road in the Sunyani Municipality of the Bono Region which was recently primer sealed for the final seal started today Saturday 16th March. 2024 to complete the one-sided of the road. Government has intention of asphalting that high way in the near future. For the mean tine it is being tarred to prepare grounds for an asphalt overlay. The contractor has hinted an immediate move to the other side of the road after the sealing works is completed.
