Incoming Assembly Man Hopeful For Suhum Nartey Anoma Electoral Area Organizes Free Health Screening For Over 800 Residents. 


The incoming Assembly Man Hopeful for Suhum Nartey Anoma Electoral area Hon. Sadick Adams a.k.a Koyot, has organized a health screening exercise for the people in his electoral area.


The initiative was carried out with a team led by Esther Kwasibea Tidomhemaa of Suhum Okorase, a Physician Assistant, and nurses drawn from the Suhum Government Hospital. 


Hon. Sadick Adams speaking with Alrich24newsgh.com news reporter Apelete Kofi-Michel said, the motive of this health screening exercise was to motivate the Nartey Anoma Electoral area residents to do regular medical checks to improve their health and well-being, especially the aged.


Residents who benefited from the exercise were diagnosed and treated for blood pressure, hypertension, blood sugar level, hepatitis B, and malaria among others.


Medication was given to them to aid the treatment of the various ailments diagnosed; some were also referred to the nearest health centers for further treatment, he said. 


Suhum Akorabo Tidomhemaa Esther Kwasibea in an interview with Alrich24newsgh.com news reporter Apelete Kofi-Michel, stated that the exercise was a good one from the incoming Assembly Man hopeful Hon. Sadick Adams a.k.a Koyot and he deserved a thumbs up.



She, however, made a request to him to make this exercise more frequent to enable the people who are not able to do regular check-ups at health facilities.


Esther Kwasibea Tidomhemaa of Okorase thanked the incoming Assembly Man hopeful Hon. Sadick Adams for such a kind gesture. She added that the treatment was free including numerous drugs given to the residents. 


The residents, who also joined benefited the train to receive treatment showered praises on the incoming Assembly Man hopeful for taking into consideration the health of his residents which they believe will help them a lot.


The event saw a massive turnout as people kept trooping into for them to be treated of their various illness.

Sunyani East, Kotokrom-New Dormaa Tarred Road Gets Second Seal. The ongoing construction of the major road of the New Dormaa-Kotokrom road in the Sunyani Municipality of the Bono Region which was recently primer sealed for the final seal started today Saturday 16th March. 2024 to complete the one-sided of the road. Government has intention of asphalting that high way in the near future. For the mean tine it is being tarred to prepare grounds for an asphalt overlay.
