MCE of Jaman South Donates Sports Materials to Drobo M/A Primary School.

The Municipal Chief Executive for Jaman South, Hon. Andrews Bediako has presented sporting materials to Drobo M/A Primary school. The items included a sets of jerseys and football to support the school football team. 


Hon. Andrews Bediako said, the donation of the items was his contribution towards sports promotion and improvement of the standard of education in the constituency and believes a gift of this nature will help the school and the students to nurture their talent in the field of sports.


Hon. Andrews Bediako urged the teachers to attach importance to physical education which will help keep the pupils and students healthy and to also unearth sports talents at the youth level.


The Headmistress of the school who received the items on behalf of the schools expressed her appreciation to the MCE for the support to improve upon the school's sporting strength and pledged to ensure that they will strictly use the items for the intended purpose.

25-Year-Old Young Man Electrocuted in Berekum . A suspected thief by the name Oboshie in his 25 years has been electrocuted at Berekum Nyamebekyere in the Berekum East Municipal of the Bono region . According to eye-witnesses, the suspected thief's lifeless body was found on the food vendor metal container as he attempted to steal from the container of the vendor who operates in a metal container. His death attracted a crowd of the Berekum people to the scene on the street of Nyamebekyere as everyone wants to catch a glimpse of the deceased over the incident of frequent robbery attacks and stealing in the Municipality.
