National Service Scheme Deputy Executive Director and a Native of Jinijini Mr. Kwaku Ohene Gyan Donates to Jinijini Police Station. 

The Deputy Executive Director of the National Service Scheme, Mr. Kwaku Ohene Gyan aka Osono Ba who is a native of Jinijini, the District capital of Berekum West has 1st September 2023 donated a number of office tables and chairs together with a first aid box to the Jinijini Police Station to support the station which has suffered for long in acquiring such materials to assist them in their operations.


Speaking to the spokesman for Mr Kwaku Ohene Gyan at the presentation,  Kwasi Badu explained that, they requested from the police station some of the materials they may need to help them combat security in the town and it came to light that, the Jinijini police station lack of office items including tables, chairs and among others hence the plan for Mr Ohene Gyan to come to the aid of the station elevate the standard of the station in their dealings with the public.





He said, Mr. Gyan donations has come at a time the police need them most to help them deliver their service smoothly therefore have donated 12 plastic chairs, 2 office swinging chairs, 2 office tables and a first aid box to boast the work of the police service and the security operation in the Berekum West District.


The Berekum District Police Commander,  Chief Superintendent Andrews Kofi Okonongye who received the items on behalf of the police commended Mr Kwaku Ohene Gyan for his support in stocking the Jinijini Police station with tables and chairs since they have been waiting for such a kind gesture for long and believes this will help the activities at the station. 


He therefore called on other citizens to emulate the example of Mr. Kwaku Ohene Gyan to always come to the aid of the police service since the government alone cannot do it all.


He promised that the items donated will be used for the very purpose donated and make good use of the furniture for the benefit of the general public.
