Watch Video: Kennedy Agyapong to give President Akufo Addo and Vice President Dr Bawumia a Showdown after Super Delegates Elections.

The showdown Hon. Kennedy planned to stage against President Akufo Addo and Dr. Bawumia was as a result of preventing his polling agent from representing him at the ongoing NPP super delegate conference today Saturday 26th August 2023.

In his argument, he will challenge the President and the Vice President since there has been an abuse of rules governing the ongoing New Patriotic Party's (NPP) Flagbearership super delegate elections.

Concerning the ongoing internal elections of the party, quite apart from what Hon. Kennedy Agyarpong is alleging, the North East representative of Hon. Alan Kyeremanteng, Ali Zakari has also been beaten and prevented from entering the conference grounds.

EIGHT (8) CHIEFS OF BEREKUM TRADITIONAL AREA GAZETTED AS DIVISIONAL CHIEFS IN BEREKUM TRADITIONAL COUNCIL. A number of eight (8) Chiefs in the Berekum Traditional Area have performed their oaths of secrecy to be gazetted as the divisional chiefs of Berekum Traditional Council. The chiefs, numbering 8, got their titles as "Osaberima" to be added to their traditional and rulership names. A high court judge, Justice Baayeh, on the 6th day of November 2018, led the chiefs to sworn in the oaths of secrecy before a certificates of recognition was issued to the chiefs as a divisional chiefs. The gazetted 8 chiefs has been granted the opportunity and right to be part of any sittings of the traditional council and by so doing, all the 8 chiefs have been approved by the government of Ghana to be part of the judicial committee of the Berekum Traditional Council.
