MP Nelson Kyeremeh Donates GHc5000.00 to Forkuo Hannah

The Member of Parliament for Berekum East Constituency of the Bono Region of Ghana, Hon. Nelson Kyeremeh has on Wednesday 23rd August 2023 donated an amount of Ghc5000.00 to support a JHS 2 student of Biadan Methodist Junior High School in the Berekum Municipal, Hanna Forkuo who is representing the northern sector in the grand finale of the school sanitation solution challenge and children's sanitation fair 2023 coming on Sunday 27th August 2023 at the National Theater in the Greater Accra.





Speaking at the presentation ceremony at the school, the personal aid to the Member of Parliament, Mr Dannis Kyeremeh emphasised that, the girl Hanna Forkuo has made Berekum proud and has brought glory to Berekum as well as her school for winning the Northern Sector of the competition among 10 competing students.


He added that the school authorities made an appeal to the MP for support. Nelson has responded to their appeal to support the school authorities and the girl to help them arrange for their preparation for the grand final. 




The Headmaster of the Baidan Methodist Junior High School, Mr Badu Johnson also expressed his gratitude to the MP Hon. Nelson Kyeremeh for coming to the aid of the school by responding to their appeal which he believes this support will enable the team to work hard to bring back the victory to Berekum also expressed his appreciations to the chief of Baidan, Nana Kojo Amparbeng Kyeremeh II and his Queen Mother Nana Akosua Dansowaa as well as the other sub-chiefs for donating an amount of Ghc2000.00 to support the school to motivate the team to go all out for the final competition with a victory.


He also thanked the headmistress and the authorities of Methodist Senior High and Technical School at Biadan for also donating an amount of Ghc500.00 and a native of Biadan who lives in Germany. Danso also donated Ghc500.00 to support the girl and said he believes Hanna Forkuo will emerge as a winner come Sunday to make Berekum proud.


On her part, Hanna Forkuo who is representing Berekum and that of the Northern sector in the 2023Sanitationn Solution Challenge also expressed her gratefulness to all who supported to this far especially her school authorities, teachers, parents and all who have assisted her with this far, as well as her mates who backed her in prayers, she promises she will not let them down and pledged that she will come out victorious come Sunday for the final contest at the National Theater.




Mr. Owusu Abraham who was representing the Berekum East Education Directorate of the Education Director also commended all those who have supported the contribution of Hannah Forkuo's assistance to help her bring the trophy home to win the challenge that will be held on Sunday 27th August 2023. 


He added that the level that Hannah has reached one way or the other will motivate most of the children in Berekum to work hard to achieve their dreams in life which he knows will have a great impact on most of the students within the Municipality and beyond. 

He therefore encouraged all the students in the school to emulate the steps of Hanah Forkuo to also do well in all their endeavors to excel one day.
