Berekum East MCE Commends Hannah Forkuo for Her Performance at the School Sanitation Solution Challenge 2023 Contest.

The Municipal Chief Executive of the Berekum East Municipal of the Bono Region Hon. Kofi Adjei has thanked God for the successful journey Hannah and her team embarked to bring glory to Berekum Municipality and also commended Hannah Forkuo for the performance she displayed during the just-ended 2023 School Sanitation Solution Challenge that was held at the National Theater.


The JHS 2 girl Hannah Forkuo is a student of Biadan Methodist JHS which was the former school of the MCE and she was placed third in the competition.



Hon. Kofi Adjie who supported the team in their travel to Accra received them back at his office on Wednesday 30th August 2023 to congratulate Hannah and her team for the wonderful performance she showcased to even represented schools from the Northern sector to become the second runner-up in the contest which is a higher feet Hannah has chalked.


He was even surprised to see that his former school where he was the Junior Prefect is where Hannah Forkuo attends and was excited to hear the good news from the team. He therefore advised Hannah to keep focusing on her education and never relent on the level she has reached but rather should take her education very seriously. 


The PRO of Berekum Education Directorate, Mr Joseph Yeboah together with Child Cordinator, Mr Abraham Owusu, the Headmaster of the School Mr Johnson Badu, the Teachers and the girl's parents presented the trophy and other presentations to the MCE as an honour for the work they did to support Hannah Forkuo to reached that level in her education career.

NSOATRE TRADITIONAL COUNCIL CONDEMNS THE VIOLENCE ACT THAT RESULTED THE DEATH OF KOTOKO SUPPORTER. The Nsoatre Traditional Council has condemns the uncouth behavour of some of the football fans that led to the untimely death of an ardent supporter of Kumasi Asante Football Club.  According to Nsuatre Traditional Council this  unfortunate behaviour happened on the stool land of Nsoatre which the council sees as unfortunate due to the cordial relationship between Nsoatreman and Asanteman which is dated back to 1740.
