A 40-Year-Old Woman Butchered at Dormaa Yaakrom.

A woman believed to be in her early 40s has been butchered to death at Yaakrom a suburb of Nkrankwanta in the Dormaa West District of the Bono region.


The deceased was identify3 as Maame Salamatu Nyanga who was a gari and takeaway seller who was stabbed multiple times with a cutlass by an unknown assailant to death.


The sad incident happened around 6:30 am on Tuesday, August 22nd, 2023 at Yaakroom.


According to reports, Madam Salamatu Nyanga went to her farm but was heard by the people around the farm shouting and making noise in the area screaming which, they rushed to the scene and saw her bleeding profusely with lots of cuts on her body they believed was a planned agenda to take the life of the woman.


The people try their best to send her to the hospital but unfortunately, she passes on on their way to the hospital. The body of the deceased was later deposited at the Dormaa hospital. 


Currently, the police in the Dormaa West have begun an investigation into the situation to trace the perpetrators.

NSOATRE TRADITIONAL COUNCIL CONDEMNS THE VIOLENCE ACT THAT RESULTED THE DEATH OF KOTOKO SUPPORTER. The Nsoatre Traditional Council has condemns the uncouth behavour of some of the football fans that led to the untimely death of an ardent supporter of Kumasi Asante Football Club.  According to Nsuatre Traditional Council this  unfortunate behaviour happened on the stool land of Nsoatre which the council sees as unfortunate due to the cordial relationship between Nsoatreman and Asanteman which is dated back to 1740.
