Berekum Traditional Council Fixed Date for the One-Week Observation of the Late Paramount Chief of Berekum, Dasebre Dr. Amankona Diawuo II.

The Berekum Traditional Council has declared a fixed date for the one-week observation of the late Omanhene of the Berekum Traditional Area in the Bono Region of Ghana, Dasebre Dr Amankona Diawuo II.


The traditional authorities said the one-week observation will be held on Friday 14th July, 2023 and until the one week will be over, the solemn traditional observation of banning drums and noise making still continues after the one-week.


The traditional authorities has informed the people of Berekum to bear with the leaders until all the necessary traditional arrangements are made to lift the ban on drumming and noise-making after the one-week celebration of the late chief.
