At the Ashaiman Circut Court, the sitting Judge Simon Gaga said it is prudent that all persons standing the trial be present to help with investigations relating to the matter since is of public interest.

He indicated that investigations are ongoing and when the accused are granted bail, they are likely to interfere with the finalization of the process.

But Opposing this, Lawyer for the four accused persons who are standing trial for dishonest receivings was the notion that the prosecutor is deliberately slowing the swiftness of the trial just to punish his clients.

Abdul Fatawu Alhassan Lawyer for the four accused persons said his clients are ready to present their sureties should the court grant them bail with conditions but this was objected to on the motion that these persons assumed to be ready to stand as sureties for the accused persons by law cannot be accepted with their house numbers and place of abode.
