THINKAID FOUNDATION CEO CELEBRATES BIRTHDAY WITH INMATES OF SUNYANI CENTRAL PRISONS.

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Thinkaid Foundation, a Non-Governmental Organisation (NG) in Berekum in the Bono Region, Henry Kofi Adane (Borga 1), has donated various assorted food items and detergents to inmates of Sunyani Central Prisons as part of his birthday celebration.

The founder of the Thinkaid organisation is a native of Berekum in the Bono region of Ghana but resides in London, UK with his family.

The Chief Executive Officer of the ThinkAid, who celebrated his birthday yesterday Friday 24th February 2023 was represented by the local executives and members of the foundation during the presentation of the items to the inmates of the Sunyani prisons. The donated items that were distributed to both male and female inmates include assorted food items such as bags of rice, cooking oil, soft drinks, Toiletries, soaps, paste, sugar, a loaf of bread, gari, a sachet of water, detergents and among other items worth over Ghc5000.00 to support the livelihood of the prison inmates in Sunyani.

Speaking on behalf of the CEO, the PRO of the Foundation, Nana Akua Agyeiwaa explained that, it has been the vision of the foundation to support the needy in society and supporting the inmates is one of the core priorities of the ThinkAid Foundation.

The leader of the organisation believes, there is no better day than putting some smile on the faces of the Sunyani prison inmates on his birthday, an occasion that may be a memorial to all especially those in need at the prison.

Receiving the items on behalf of the inmates, the Sunyani Central Prisons Chaplain who is also in charge of the religious affairs of the Prisons, Rev. Supt. Gideon Ndebugri thanked the CEO of Thinkaid Foundation, Henry Kofi Adane and the delegation who represented him during the presentation, for coming to the aid of the prison inmates in hard times like this and he believes this donation will go a long to help the inmates.

Rev. Supt. Gideon Ndebugri again appealed to the general public to always come to the aid of the inmates since their daily grant of Ghs1.80 is not enough to provide them with 3 square meals.

He, therefore, called on all benevolent organisations and individuals to emulate the steps of Thinkaid to as well come and support the general upkeep of the prison inmates.
