A 32-Year-old Uncle and Bamboo Seller defile and Impregnate his two Nieces at Agona Abodom.

A 32-year-old Kobina Appiah who is a bamboo seller has defiled and impregnated his two nieces at Agona Abodom in Agona West Municipality of the Central Region.


The age of the victims ranges from thirteen and fifteen years old respectively who are now pregnant with their uncle.


Both of the victims reside at Agona Abodom in the same house as their uncle who has taken a chance to sleep with them.


According to the information gathered, the Uncle has been having sexual intercourse with the victims and always threats them that he will kill them should anyone hear about the situation.


They got to know the Uncle has been sleeping with the victims only when they got pregnant at the same time in the house.


According to the victim's mother Efua Yeboah, said, the 32-year-old bamboo seller Kobina Appiah got the two children drunk and have sexual intercourse with them without their knowledge.


The suspect has taken to his heels and is on the run and he is nowhere to be found.


Other Information gathered indicates that Agona Swedru Divisional DOVSU command is currently searching for the arrest of the 32-year-old Kobina Appiah for further interrogation.


Nana Owiro XIV, the reagent Agona Abodom and Bankumhene of Agona  Nyarkrom Traditional Area confirmed they have heard the case and will do anything to assist the police to arrest the suspect and also guaranteed that the protection of the children will be their priority in the area. 


Meanwhile, the Police at Agona Abodom have started an investigation into the matter.
