The Parent and Tutors Association ( PTA ) for the Presbyterian Senior High School ( Presec ) at Bechem in the Tano South Municipal of Ahafo Region has donated food items to the school to support the Free Senior High School Policy.


Some of the listed items the association donated to the school include bags of sugar, cooking oil, rice, onion, dry fish, ginger, breakfast blow's, and other cooking stuff which coated them an amount of Ghc. 40,000.


Speaking to the Vice Chairman of the Association Mr, Baffour Awuah Joseph after the donation disclosed that,  the school cannot alone depend on the government therefore stakeholders, individuals and other entities need to play their role to support the Free Senior High School Policy to enhance education in the country.

Adding that, the donation form part of the Association's readiness to support the school whenever the need arises and believes the food items will go a long way to help alleviate the challenges associated with feeding the students.


He also promised that the PTA will continue to provide educational support to the school to improve upon the developmental status of the school.


The Headmaster of the school, Mr Edwin Odame who received the foodstuffs used the opportunity to appreciate the School's PTA for supporting the school's educational programs as well as helping the good Free Senior High School Policy in the country by the President Nana Akufo Addo to provide better education to the children in the country.
