Tano South Assembly Supply 1000 Furniture to Improve Education.

The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE ) for Tano South in the Ahafo Region, Mr Collins Offenem Takyi has revealed that the necessary support has been provided to various schools to enhance education in the Municipality.

According to him, under the New Patriotic Party (NPP) administration, numerous school infrastructures and supplying of furniture have been supplied to the school children to promote quality education in the area, especially In the deprived communities and promise to continue to work hard for essay access in education development.

He added that measures have been put in place to build classrooms for schools in the farming communities such as Yawkyekyewo and Kotiede communities for the children in the area to get access to education where they live.

He also disclosed this after he presented 1000 pieces of furniture for 50 schools to support education.

The Municipal Education Human Resource Mr Yeboah Anthony also used the opportunity to thank the Municipal Chief Executive in the area for supporting education and urged the school authorities to adopt the maintenance culture for the use of the furniture.

The Chairman of the Conference of Heads of Basic Schools in the Tano South Municipal, Emmanuel Johnson Kojo Quainoo also praised the government and Assembly for coming to their aid and used the occasion to appeal to individuals, and NGOs to always come and support to improve of education in the life of children in the area.

NSOATRE TRADITIONAL COUNCIL CONDEMNS THE VIOLENCE ACT THAT RESULTED THE DEATH OF KOTOKO SUPPORTER. The Nsoatre Traditional Council has condemns the uncouth behavour of some of the football fans that led to the untimely death of an ardent supporter of Kumasi Asante Football Club.  According to Nsuatre Traditional Council this  unfortunate behaviour happened on the stool land of Nsoatre which the council sees as unfortunate due to the cordial relationship between Nsoatreman and Asanteman which is dated back to 1740.
