Berekum-Dormaa Raod Accident Claims One Passenger's Life.

One passenger lost his life today Sunday 22nd January 2023 around 4:00 pm on the Berekum-Dormaa Ahenkro road in the Berekum East Municipal of the Bono Region.

According to the eyewitness report, the Hyundai Urvan bus with the registration number BA 7902-Z travelling from Dormaa Ahenkro's direction to Berekum crashed head-on with a taxi cab with the registration number AS 1355-12 killing one passenger instantly.

They continued that, the Hyundai Urvan bus was carrying passengers from Sawfi in the Western North to Techiman and this unfortunate incident happened.

By the timely intervention of the Berekum Police command, the rest of the injured passengers were carried to Holy Family Hospital accident and Emergency Unit for treatment.

A student and one passenger were in critical condition and received intensive care from the Doctors and nurses at the hospital.

The body of the passenger that lost his life was sent to the hospital morgue for preservation.

25-Year-Old Young Man Electrocuted in Berekum . A suspected thief by the name Oboshie in his 25 years has been electrocuted at Berekum Nyamebekyere in the Berekum East Municipal of the Bono region . According to eye-witnesses, the suspected thief's lifeless body was found on the food vendor metal container as he attempted to steal from the container of the vendor who operates in a metal container. His death attracted a crowd of the Berekum people to the scene on the street of Nyamebekyere as everyone wants to catch a glimpse of the deceased over the incident of frequent robbery attacks and stealing in the Municipality.
