Bechem Diaspora Association Commissioned 22 Seater Ultra Modern Toilet Facility To Improve Sanitation in Bechem Township.


The Bechem Diaspora Association base abroad has Commissioned a 22 Seater Ultra Modern Toilet Facility to improve Sanitation at Bechem in the Tano South Municipal of the Ahafo Region.

Mr, Justice Boahene, the Financial Coordinator for the Association, revealed to Kojo Mframa in an interview that, this Ultra Modern Toilet Facility will generate gas soon because the project is a biogas initiative.

He added that, aside from this first ultra-modern toilet facility, the association are supporting the brilliant but needy students in the community to improve education in Bechem and promised to continue to provide more projects to enhance development in the area.

He used the opportunity to appeal to the residents in the area to avoid using the facility for political gains in case there is a political change in the country.



The Assemblyman at Bechem Community Center electoral area, Honourable Frank Attuahene alias Aggressive appreciated the association for coming to their aid because residents in his electoral area were facing difficulty in assessing toilet facilities and urged other individuals and opinion leaders from Bechem should also follow the steps of the Bechem Diaspora Association because Bechem town can not be built and depend on solely on government so far as developmental issues are concerned.

Chairman of Bechem Water Board, Mr Yaw Gyamfi advised the residents in the area to take proper care of the facility because serval rules have been put in place to be obeyed after the Commissioning of the project and disclose that, they have provided a space for people with disability.

Sunyani East, Kotokrom-New Dormaa Tarred Road Gets Second Seal. The ongoing construction of the major road of the New Dormaa-Kotokrom road in the Sunyani Municipality of the Bono Region which was recently primer sealed for the final seal started today Saturday 16th March. 2024 to complete the one-sided of the road. Government has intention of asphalting that high way in the near future. For the mean tine it is being tarred to prepare grounds for an asphalt overlay.
