Suhum, Parents Advised to Pay their Children’s School Fees on Time- El- Shaddai Proprietress.

The Founder of El-Shaddai Prep School at Okorase a suburb of Suhum Municipality of the Eastern Region, Mrs Lucy Osei- Benpong has called on parents to pay their children’s fees early to enable the school to serve them better.


She said delays in fee payment were a major setback to the school as some parents still owed fees for the last academic year.


She noted that no institution could function well without the needed resources and therefore, appealed to parents who owed fees to endeavour to pay to facilitate teaching and learning.


Mrs Benpong made this statement when the school celebrated its 25th-anniversary Speech and Prize-giving Day of the School.


When speaking with Alrich24newsgh.com news Reporter Apelete Kofi-Michel, said her Vision is to strive to better a lot of students to produce students who would stand for integrity and represent God wherever they find themselves and My Mission is to transform the lives of the students by imparting them with God-fearing values and providing them with quality and affordable education.


She said the school was to provide quality but affordable education to the Ghanaian child and called on parents to uphold their responsibility of providing for the needs of their children to help in enhancing education for all.


Mrs Lucy Benpong noted that some parents did not supervise their wards in doing their homework and this led to the child acquiring low continuous assessment scores, affecting his or her grades in the Basic Education Certificate Examination.


She said that high academic performance was a collective responsibility of stakeholders including government, schools, communities, parents and guardians are called on all to be active in creating a conducive environment for academic excellence. She said.


Nana Kokura, the Gyaasehene of Okorase speaking with Alrich24newsgh.com news Reporter Apelete Kofi-Michel, said the parents should try to give encouragement and show appreciation for foreign child's achievements, whether great or small, as this can help boost their confidence learn together, do things together, visit interesting places.


He then, therefore, sed the parents to provide for their children in school since they are the future leaders in this country.


Osofo Obed Okran also advised the parents when the Eaddai Prep- School celebration said family lives appappreciateat time can be a factor in busy families but there are ways of being involved in your child's education without feeling overwhelmed. This can give your child far greater goals and inspire them to try their best where they can.

THE SKY TRAIN SAGA—WIld Goose Chase. The Sky Train project which received considerable media coverage during Nana Akufo-Addo’s regime has resurfaced.
