The Black Stars of Ghana are the latest team to go through the traditional photoshoot at the World Cup in Qatar.

Ghana has been drawn into a tough group alongside Portugal, Asian giants South Korea and Uruguay.

The four-time African champions will face Portugal in their opening group game on November 24 which is today Thursday 4:00 pm every Ghanaian cannot afford to miss this game as they play against their Portuguese opponents.

Players of the Black Stars took turns for their official photos ahead of their opening game at the 2022 FIFA World Cup against Portugal. The team led by coach Otto Addo had their media moment before the commencement of the World Cup in Qatar.

In photos shared on social media, the players had different poses looking excited before Thursday's Group H opener. The four-time African champions will face Portugal in their opening game of the tournament today November 24 before facing South Korea four days later. 

Ghana will rekindle chivalry against South American giants Uruguay on December 2 to complete their group games. The Black Stars are hoping to surpass their 2010 quarter-final record by going beyond the last eight.

The Ghana Black Stars football team has gained a lot of support from the people of Ghana including the President of Ghana Nana Akufo Addo visiting the team at their camp while the Vice President Dr Mahamadu Bowuamia also wishing the team in a video to go for gold in today's game with their group H counterparts 🇵🇹  which Black Satrs is poised to showcase their skills and feet in the ongoing 2022 World cup tournament in Qatar.

Ghana is the 5th country from Africa to play today after Senegal lose to the Netherlands with 2 goals whiles Tunisia played against Demark with a goalless draw as well as Morocco.
