Kordiabe Outdoored Ghanass Headmistress and Businesswoman as New Queen Mother.
Naki Tutuabo ll known in her private life as Mrs. Patience Mensah, a Public Servant and Business Woman has been outdoors as the Queen Mother for the Kordiabe Traditional Area.
Naki Tutuabo ll replaced the late Queen-mother, Nana Tutuabo l who died in September 2022.
She is the niece of the late Queen mother and hails from the Lekpeje Yiti Division Manye Royal house, the custodians of the Kordiabe Queen Mother stool.
Mrs Patience Mensah, the Headmistress of Ghanass Senior High School in Koforidua now Naki Tutuabo ll is the new queen mother of Kordiabe Traditional Area, she first sat in state for the first time at the Kordiabe grand durbar with the people of Kordiabe Traditional Area together with Nene Kpadi Nah-Wayo l at the family house and Nana Teiko the women's youth Queen mother.
Naki Tutuabo ll and Nana Teiko were taken into customary rites of purification last week outdoors at a ceremony at the Kordiabe Shrine on Sunday 27th November 2022.
They swore the traditional oath pledging their allegiance to the chiefs and the Kordiabe Traditional Area, Nene Kpadi Nah-Wayo l.
In a brief speech, Naki Tutuabo pledged to work earnestly with all stakeholders to reduce the high incidence of teenage pregnancy in the area and to improve the well-being of the people of Kordiabe.
She appealed for support from all to accelerate the development of the area.
Nene Kpadi Nah-Wayo l congratulated Naki Tutuabo ll and Nana Teiko Women's youth Queen Mother and called for unity and support from all to make Kordiabe a better place to live.
She appealed particularly to the youth to avoid indiscipline and strive to attain their life aspirations.
A Women's Youth Queen mother Nana Teiko, sharing her vision with the people of Kordiabe indicated that she would work to support the larger vision of the chiefs.
She stressed that he intends to focus on the health of the people, the education of the girl-child and the empowerment of women to support their families.
She, therefore appealed to the government to come to their aid to support their developmental projects by constructing their roads and senior secondary schools in their area for them.
The Chief of Kordiabe Nene Kpadi Nah- Wayo congratulated them and wish them well as they assumes their new responsibility for the traditional area.
He, therefore, appeal to the government to come to their aid since they lack developmental projects, no good roads, no secondary Schools, and no public toilet facility among others and called for unity among the chiefs and people.
