Current Educational System is Bleeding Graduate Unemployment Rate-Founder of All Nation University.

The President and Founder of All Nations University in Koforidua in the Eastern Region, Reverend Doctor Samuel Hubert Donkor has stated that the current educational system is now the cause of the high rate of graduate unemployment facing the country.

He added that making everyone pay for their post-secondary education through loans will be open to those who can afford and those who cannot will no longer get a free ride at the expense of the beleaguered taxpayer for their education.

According to Rev. Dr Hubert Donkor said, though free education is good there is no justification for free tertiary education at the expense of rapid economic development which benefits all rather than a few.

The President and Founder of All Nations University made this known during the graduation ceremony for 691 students which was held in Koforidua.

He further stated that the brilliant idea of allocating a percentage of VAT for educational purposes should be applauded by the government as it will create a revenue stream for funding our education.

The Minister for Education, Dr Yaw Osei Adutwum speaking at the ceremony implored parents to invest in their children's education to reach the higher point of the academic ladder.

He said, his parent never attended school before but they saw the importance of education and invested heavily in him today he is the Minister out of his parent's resources which pushed him not to go wasted.

Dr Osei Adutwum again entreated parents to take advantage of free education and take their children to school for the benefit of their future and in doing that, he is optimistic that their investment will not go waste.
