Food for All Africa Donates Food Items to the Aged and Regal School Shuttle in Suhum Municipality.
Food for All Africa, a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO), has donated a quantity of food and other items to the Aged and Regal School Shuttle International in the Suhum Municipality of the Eastern Region.
The food items donated includes rice, tomato paste, maize, beans, gari, sugar, cooking oil and Fan yogot ice cream.
Presenting the items, the Country's Project Director, Mr. Shehu Ibrahim speaking with Alrich24newsgh.com news Reporter Apelete Kofi-Michel, explained that Food for All Africa is a Non-governmental organization in the West Africa, the first and largest community food distributor in Ghana.
According to him, they decided to donate the food items to all the sixteen (16) regions in Ghana to thw Aged above 60 years and (20) schools in Greater Accra, Eastern, Central, Volta and Ashanti Regiona respectively to address some of their challenges facing the aged.
He hoped the items would go a long way in helping the children in their education to become responsible adults and to contribute towards the development of their society.
He said, the less privileged in society needs the support of the public to enable them to live decent live and they are here to show humanity, compassion, the only aim is to help the needy smile.
They believe government alone cannot do everything and it is their role as partners of development and as an NGO, it's their aim to help provide food items to ease the problem the less privilege go through in life, He said.
Receiving the items on behalf of the Regal School Shuttle International, the Assistance Headmaster of the school, Mr Isaac Ameyaw, thanked the Food for All Africa NGO for their donation and called on other NGOs and the well to do in the society to help solve the numerous challenges facing the schools.
Some of the beneficiaries also thanked the Food for All Africa NGO organization for what they have done for them and said, they don't believe that they can received this items from them in such difficult time.
