Church Of Pentecost New Dormaa Branch PEMEN, Donates Items Worth GH¢3,000.00 to the Inmates of Sunyani Central Prisons.

The Church of Pentecost Sunyani New Dormaa District of the Men Fellowship (PEMEN) has donated assorted items worth GH¢3,000 to Sunyani Central Prisons in the Sunyani Municipality of the Bono Region.

At the presentation of the items to the inmates, Sofomaame Bossman in an interview with Elder Paul Bediako who is the PEMEN District Leader of the Church of Pentecost said, the donation was in direction to help the inmates and it is a christian mandate to help those ineed.

Elder Bediako added that as Jesus has indicated in the scriptures that at the end of time, he will ask each and everyone "when I was in prison did you visit me"?  Saying it is a clear biblical mandate of every Christian to respond to.

The item which includes bag of rice, gallon of cooking oil, eggs, , canned tomatoes, suchert water, drinks and toiletries among other items were presented to the prisons.

Elder Bediako together with Pastor Michael Osei-Apau who is the District Pastor and the entire PEMEN of New Dormaa District therefore appealed to other christian organizations to assist the prisoners since they are  "our brothers" who must be visited.

Rev Ndebugri Gideon, the Regional Charpline of Sunyani Central Prisons who received the items on behalf of the inmates thanked the church for the gesture and called for other Organizations to come to their aid.

NSOATRE TRADITIONAL COUNCIL CONDEMNS THE VIOLENCE ACT THAT RESULTED THE DEATH OF KOTOKO SUPPORTER. The Nsoatre Traditional Council has condemns the uncouth behavour of some of the football fans that led to the untimely death of an ardent supporter of Kumasi Asante Football Club.  According to Nsuatre Traditional Council this  unfortunate behaviour happened on the stool land of Nsoatre which the council sees as unfortunate due to the cordial relationship between Nsoatreman and Asanteman which is dated back to 1740.
