Necessary Measures Put in Place to stop Any Attempt of illegal Mining or Galamsey in our Municipality - Tano South MCE Reveals. 

The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE ) for Tano South Municipal in the Ahafo Region, Mr, Collins Offenem Takyi has revealed that, all the necessary measures have been put in place to deal with any attempt of illegal miners or galamsey activities in his area.


According to him, the Assembly, Nananom, stakeholders, and Assembly members have come together to put all effort and measures down to stop any attempt of illegal mining activities among the youth especially in the7 deprived areas in the Municipality. 


He continued and urge for the support of all stakeholders to help deal with galamsey and it's related issues within the Tano South Municipality.


He added that, his outfit and the support from the Assembly and the Assembly members, numorus measures has been outlined to generate more revenue to improve upon on their internal gerenated funds to enhance developments in the municipality especially in the rural areas this year because they can not depends only on the government commond fund.


He therefore assured the people in the Municipality to rally behind the Assembly in the attempt to stop illegal mining menace affecting the country.
