Healthlife Africa Organizes Free Health Screening for Akwadum Residents.


The residents of Akwadum, a community in the New Juabeng North  Municipality of the Eastern Region, have benefited from free health-screening exercise organized by Prophet Stephen - Ask Ackrong and CEO of Healthlife Africa, Founder: Rural Missions Ghana Project.

The programme was initiated by Prophet Stephen after a 3 day crusade in  the rural areas at Akwadum in partnership with a health professionals.

Earlier in the day, the organizers under took a few-hour football gallar exercise at Akwadum M/A School park.



They also schooled the citizenry on the need for them to cultivate the habit of regular medical check-ups for the timely intervention to save their lives and proper health care.

Healthlife Africa Foundation, led by Prophet Stephen- Ask, took the participants through general medical examination, including blood pressure, sugar levels, heart, liver, mental health and kidney check-ups and those diagnosed with diseases were treated while others were referred to the nearby hospitals for further medical treatments.

They also counselled the people on the need to lead good healthy lifestyles to help prolong their lives and further urged the citizenry to periodically visit the health facility for check-ups.

Among persons who availed themselves for the screening were, children, the aged, farmers, drivers and the church members.

The CEO of Healthlife Africa Foundation, Prophet Stephen- Ask, Founder: Rural Missions Ghana Project in an interview with Alrich24newsgh.com news Reporter Apelete Kofi-Michel, stated that the exercise climaxed a three-day revival on the theme "Experience God’s Anointing and Healing".



He therefore added that, some of the youth in Akwadum are into drugs abuse which are leading them into mental problems.

He noted that, the chuch is essentially taken the lives of every living being serious and as a church undertaken such  core service of preaching the gospel to win more souls into the vineyard, they also embark on such other exercises as a social responsibility to the society.

Prophet Stephen added that, the exercise was aimed at keeping members of the community healthy to enable them to have the peace of mind to worship God. Worshipping God is not only about spirituality, but also taking care of people physically to make them healthy, he said.

Some of the beneficiaries also speak to Apelete Kofi-Michel and thanked the organizers for this free Heath screening to help develop the health standard of the people.
