Berekum-Mpatsei Chief Recieves an International OMAC Award for Saving Lives. 

The Chief of Berekum Mpatasie who also doubles as the Chief Executive Officer of Jokumaks Company Limited and the President of Oxygen Producers Association Ghana, Nana Kyere Kumah II, also know in the private life as Nana Joe Kumah, has received an International OMAC award for the lives saved during the Covid-19 pandemic. 

Nana Kyere Kumah II speaking with Alrich24newsgh.com in an exclusive interview said, his company Jokumaks Ltd has been in existence for the past 22 years in the production and distribution of oxygen to medical and industrial facilities. 

He said, the recognition OMAC has given him and his company is a step in the right direction because Jokumaks Ltd produces and distributes Oxygen as low as what every institution can afford to save lives at the Covid-19 pandemic across the country. 

Nana Kumah added that, OMAC shares the sentiment of the severe effects and impact of Covid-19 where unprecedented lockdowns, strict travel bans and social distancing measures, cancellation of many prominent events and exhibitions that brought every business and economic activities to a halt but saw Jokumaks Ltd producing, supplying and distributing oxygen to institutions to bring back life to normal among the lives of Covid-19 affected persons. 

He said, in view of this that, OMAC is given him the  award for his exemplary contribution to humanity during the pandemic. 

Nana Joe Kumah siad, as the President of Oxygen Producers Association Ghana, he was able to talk to the Association members to maintain the price of Oxygen from the period of Covid-19 pandemic till date without increment whiles everything is being increased in the country. 

He again explained that, Jokumaks Ltd has been selected by the government, under the one-district-one-factory initiative to expand the business to produce Oxygen in large quantities to support the country. 8

Nana Kyere Kumah II commended the President, Nana Akufo-Addo's government and the Ministry of Trade and Industry for the selecting Jokumaks Ltd and believes if all the necessary funds are provided, it will contribute a lot in the production of oxygen as new improved machines will be acquired to produce 99.7% purified bottle Oxygen for medical and industrial facilities and also to produce portable liquefied oxygen for asthmatic and hypertensive patients for the purpose of domestic use.

He therefore called on the government to support him as promised to enable him produce and distribute Oxygen in both Ashanti Region where Jokumaks Ltd is situated and an expansion will continue in the Bono Region to serve the central part of the country as well as the Northern part of the country including Upper West and Upper East with oxygen.

He said, when the project is complete, it will contribute to the production and distribution of oxygen in the country to avoid the importation of foreign oxygen into the country to boost the domestic production of Oxygen in the country.

Sunyani East, Kotokrom-New Dormaa Tarred Road Gets Second Seal. The ongoing construction of the major road of the New Dormaa-Kotokrom road in the Sunyani Municipality of the Bono Region which was recently primer sealed for the final seal started today Saturday 16th March. 2024 to complete the one-sided of the road. Government has intention of asphalting that high way in the near future. For the mean tine it is being tarred to prepare grounds for an asphalt overlay.
