Berekum Divisional Police Commander Calls On Residents of Jaman South Not to Panic in Seeing Police Petrol Team.

The Berekum Divisional Police Commander in the Bono Region, ACP Appiah Richard who also supervises Drobo Police District has urged residents of Drobo in the Jaman South Municipality to embrace the Personnels from the Police Service deployed to Drobo township.

According to the police commander, the police are the agents of peace and security hence the people in the area should do well to offer the police the needed support whenever necessary.

He made this statement during a presentation ceremony by the management of Drobo Community Bank as part of honouring their social responsibilities donated a number of office chairs, air condition, barrier stands among others to the Drobo Police Command to support them in delivering of their services to the people in the area. 





The Omanhene of Drobo Traditional Council who is also the Vice President of Bono Regional House of Chiefs, Okokyeredom Sakyi Ako ll also commended Ghana Police Service for their good work they are offering to Ghanaians and asked for God's protection upon their services.

On her part, the Manageress of Drobo Community Bank, Mrs. Akoto Lucy recounted the success the bank has chalked and urged the people of Drobo to associate themselves with the bank to enjoy the good services of the bank to enable them to grow their businesses.

She finally added that, this donation will not be last but will try it's best to respond to every sector to full their mandate of corporate social responsibilities for the benefit of all.

Sunyani East, Kotokrom-New Dormaa Tarred Road Gets Second Seal. The ongoing construction of the major road of the New Dormaa-Kotokrom road in the Sunyani Municipality of the Bono Region which was recently primer sealed for the final seal started today Saturday 16th March. 2024 to complete the one-sided of the road. Government has intention of asphalting that high way in the near future. For the mean tine it is being tarred to prepare grounds for an asphalt overlay.
