Duayaw Nkwanta Circuit Court Judge Sentenced Pragyia Thief 20 Years Imprisonment.

Duayaw Nkwanta Circuit Court in the Tano North Municipal of the Ahafo Region presided over by his Honor Edward Twum has sentenced a pragyia snatcher into 20 years of imprisonment with hard labour. 


Chief Inspector Mohammed Adnan, accusing the suspects, Jawama Puninpo a farm labourer and one other Iddrisu Muash an unemployed who is now at large, snatched a pragyia tricycle on 24th March, 2022 from it's owner who also is the complainant of the case, Godfred Anyinani at Susuanho-Adeobaa road and sold the machine at Ghc4000.00 whiles the current value of the machine is Ghc20, 000.00


The accused person Jawama Puninpo pleaded guilty of the offence and was slapped to go into prison to serve for 20 years with hard labour.


The other suspect Iddrisu Muash who is at large is being pursue and if caught will also be sentenced to joined his accomplice in the prison.

NSOATRE TRADITIONAL COUNCIL CONDEMNS THE VIOLENCE ACT THAT RESULTED THE DEATH OF KOTOKO SUPPORTER. The Nsoatre Traditional Council has condemns the uncouth behavour of some of the football fans that led to the untimely death of an ardent supporter of Kumasi Asante Football Club.  According to Nsuatre Traditional Council this  unfortunate behaviour happened on the stool land of Nsoatre which the council sees as unfortunate due to the cordial relationship between Nsoatreman and Asanteman which is dated back to 1740.
